Default Have you finished Factions already?

It seems a few folks have finished Factions already (the PvE bit, main quests I presume). It took me months of playing Prophecies on a regular basis to finally get to the end of that, so this has piqued my interest that people have finished Factions in just over a week (or less)

By "finished" I mean the PvE bit, having gone through the Main Quest. I realise this doesn't cover all the side quests and exploring/titles etc. feel free to add that in your response if you've a lot of those to do still.

Not sure how to make a poll on here, if it's even possible so Yes/No somewhere in your response would be good!

Well... if by finished you mean done the last mission, yes, I've just done that with 1 char last night.

There are still quests which haven't been done and challenge missions which I didn't bother about, cause I wanted the end game armor.

So all up, while prophecies took longer to finish (you had to learn the controls of the game back then, which added to the amount of time it took), factions is far from finished for me.

btw, does anyone know where to cap Psychic Instability? I'm missing it.

I made a start at it, but got sidetracked attempting to come up with new PvP builds. Consider it a work in progress..

I think by removing the skills as quest rewards, it encourages you to miss out all the side quests and press on with the primary quests and missions.

1. People already had everything they needed before starting Cantha. Items, skills, tactics and a level 20 character.
2. Cantha is smaller, it's just true. 13 missions, compared to the 25 of Tyria.
3. People want to finish the game as soon as possible, just to get cool features, and simply to see everything in Cantha as soon as possible. I doubt you felt rushed like that in Tyria.

Try playing through the 25 missions of Tyria with your level 20 character, and then tell me, if it took long or not. I can tell you know, it'll be over in several days as well. My tip to you guys; don't feel rushed. Play Cantha like the first time you played in Tyria. You'll enjoy it more and longer.

yep, with my monk. Still, I'm far from finished with her. Because of the exploration title and so many new elites I love going out in unexplored areas with a cap sig or two

For full content hours, the game assumes you'll follow all those little errand running missions and such to add to play time.

If you just jump primary quest to primary quest - it is finishable in about 2 days. sure.

I have 50 hours with my Ritualist.

It took less than that to actually beat the game as I didn't totally commit myself to doing so. A fair portion of that time was spent chatting, faction farming, and idling.

Yep, 33 hours. Though in retrospect I think I would have had more fun if I had done it slower...

Completed all the sub quests given by NPC's, however the challenge missions will be where the main pve replay is.

Also, if like me you talked to every NPC in the last area, then a couple of things they say is interesting, it may be nothing, but one of them informed me that someone is waiting to see me and the other told me to stop by as there may be something for me to do..

Not checked yet, but I doubt it's extra stuff.

Well said, I couldn't agree more. I enjoy the game for the experience. I hate players that rush through the game just to come back and show your all of the new cool stuff they think they were the "first" to discover. Who cares, all those ppl have managed to do is a longer wait till the next GW saga.
As for me, I'm going to savor the experience.

I beat it a few days ago so I could better focus on my finals this week. I LOVED the final battle (not commenting because of spoilers).
